Up to 60 users from the community who log most Green Rewards points per person will receive a pack of mixed edible or pollinator friendly plants, such as Cornflowers, Tomatoes and Strawberries.

🙌 How does it work?

Our first ever Green Rewards community prize aims to encourage users to go the extra mile to take sustainability action, whilst rewarding them with plants that they can grow to beautify their space, attract pollinators and give them a taste of growing their own food.

Green Rewards users earn points by logging their sustainability actions on the platform, such as saving energy at home or supporting wildlife. Users who live in the same ward area of Nottingham City – for example, Berridge – will have their points combined and the ward who earns the most points before Friday 27th June will win. Eligible users will then receive an e-voucher to collect their plant pack from a nearby collection point.

Help your ward secure the victory – get logging your actions!

🌻 Where are the plants coming from?

The plants available have been donated by local Community Interest Company, Allotment Education. Based in Nottingham, Allotment Education is dedicated to improving the lives of people through plants, by delivering focused horticultural sessions to children and young people in their educational setting. The plants offered as part of this Green Rewards prize are surplus plants that have been grown by children and young people working with Allotment Education in City schools.

Terms and Conditions

  • This community prize is dependent on plants growing successfully and therefore may be withdrawn in part or in full at any time.
  • The winning ward is regarded as the Nottingham City ward that has logged the highest number of points on Green Rewards when averaged per user from 1st June to 4:00pm on 27th June
  • If there are more users in the winning ward than plant packs available, collection vouchers will be sent to the number of users that there are of plant packs available, starting from the highest individual point scoring user to the lowest.
  • Collection of a plant pack is optional for voucher recipients. The plant species in the pack will be detailed with the voucher, so that winners can identify if they are suitable for their circumstances. We cannot guarantee to swap plant species that recipients feel are unsuitable for them.
  • Users will be required to collect their plant pack from a collection point. Delivery is not available. We will make every effort to find a suitable collection point as close to the winning ward as possible, but some travel within the Nottingham city boundary may be required for collection.
