Fantastic new discounts available for Green Rewards users
Users of the Green Rewards app* can now access even more benefits with new prizes and discounts added this week.**
By joining Green Rewards, Nottingham and Nottinghamshire residents can earn discounts, vouchers, and prizes from Active Nottingham, the National Justice Museum, Romano’s Ice Cream, and more for taking action to combat climate change and reduce their carbon footprint.
Get 25% off when you sign up for an annual membership for Active Nottingham Fitness+ or take advantage of no joining fee if you sign up for a monthly membership. By joining Active Nottingham, you get unlimited access to six gyms, six swimming pools, health suites, and over 300 instructor-led classes each week.
National Justice Museum
Nottingham’s museum of crime, punishment, and social justice is offering 10% off entry for Green Rewards members. The National Justice Museum is based in Nottingham city centre and houses a Victorian courtroom, Georgian gaol, and cells that date back hundreds of years.
Romano’s Ice Cream
Receive 10% off at Romano’s ice cream vans at Wollaton Park and Newstead Abbey, the 1881 Café at Victoria Embankment, and TEN66 café at the National Water Sports Centre.
As well as the discount for all members, when Green Rewards users achieve 15,000 points, they can choose from a free pizza and drink or coffee and cake at the 1881 Café or TEN66 Café.
Users can also benefit from an existing offer from Nottingham City Transport. Users will receive a discount of 15% off adult and group day tickets, helping them to earn even more points by taking the bus!
The Green Rewards app and web platform lets users accumulate points for many sustainable activities such as walking to work, washing at 30 degrees, or eating plant-based meals.
There are two opportunities to win prizes each month – one for users in Nottingham city who collect the most points and one winner drawn at random. Prizes currently on offer include:
- A week’s tram pass from NET
- £20 ice cream vouchers at Romano’s ice cream vans at Wollaton Hall or Newstead Abbey
- A family ticket at the National Justice Museum
Green Rewards is an award-winning programme run in collaboration with Nottingham City Council and Nottinghamshire’s councils, including Gedling Borough Council, Broxtowe Borough Council, Rushcliffe Borough Council, Nottinghamshire County Council, Mansfield District Council, Newark and Sherwood District Council, and Bassetlaw District Council. Nearly 7,000 residents across the county are already signing up and have completed more than 112,000 sustainable actions so far in 2023.
Residents can sign up for free at notts.greenrewards.co.uk or download the Green Rewards app on iOS and Android by searching for ‘Notts Green Rewards’ in the device’s app store.
* These discounts are available for Green Rewards in Nottingham City, Rushcliffe, Newark and Sherwood, and Gedling (residents of Gedling are not eligible for Active Nottingham rewards).
